Well, tomorrow will be my best friend’s 14th birthday. This is a really special one for us. Ol pal had a very scary fall season this past year and had to have an emergency surgery. Sometimes life gets serious. And if there was ever a time I needed a good friend to not only talk me through the process, prepare me for it and to ultimately do the damn thing with all of the care and precision in the world, it was last year. That good friend came in Dr. Lee. I am thankful for all my friends, but I smile and am reminded of how thankful I am for knowing her every time I reach down to scratch this guy.
